Possible Story for Special Occasion Speech

My parents have been married for 28 years. My mom went to high school with my dad's sister, Nancy, and she didn't really like her because she was annoying and really flakey. However, several years later my mom went on a bowling date with my dad because Nancy knew my mom's boss and he threatened to fire her if she didn't go on a date with Nancy's brother Rick. It seemed that everyone knew that they were meant to be together, except for them. They finally went on the date and had a great time. After a few years and several more bowling games they were married. And still to this day they are on a husband and wife bowling league every Sunday night from 6:00 until 9:00, keeping their love and love of the game strong.
